Our six-day Cape Verde cruise

After we finished our latest round tour in Cape Verde from Boa Vista to Sal, we are now already on our way with the new group, from São Vicente to São Nicolau. Since this is a shorter voyage, we have left Sal on Friday night after all guests got on board. We sailed towards São Vicente with quite some swell and wind. Some of our guests had to get used to that and experienced some sea sickness. After a good night sleep most people on board had found their sea legs. We anchored around lunch in Mindelo. Next morning was an early wake up to be in time for the ferry to Santo Antão to visit the beautiful green volcano. Back on board dinner was served. After dinner we set sail again to sail southbound of São Vicente towards São Nicolau. Last week there was a lot of wind here, but now all is calm. We motorsail calmly past the islands. The guests were happy with this calm sea. It gives everyone a good night sleep and a nice preparation for the activities of tomorrow.
