Day sail and departure

After a final cleaning and last preparations we welcomed 45 guests on board for a day sail. While enjoying the view and drinking a glass of Champaign and eating tapas we make a short voyage in the harbour of Santos. Luckily the wind was very good so we could sail almost the whole way. Everyone was very enthusiastic.
After the last guests left the ships, we prepared the ship together with the guest crewmembers for the ocean crossing.  With a last honk of the horn we said goodbye to the ‘Tecla’ and Brazil.
At this moment we are sailing close-hauled on the (for now) calm ocean. It is nice weather and wind to adjust to the circumstances.
