Energy!

It seems that the ship collected all her energy during the time that we had headwind and releases it all during better winds. And the better wind has arrived!
Since we are sailing again, the speed has increased. From 6,5 to 7,5 to 8,2 knots!
When we were on course for Reunion Island and we could release the sheets the ships bursts with energy. With a speed during the night and day of 8,5 to 9,6 knots we made 172 miles in 24 hours. It was great! When we were talking to a first mate on a big containership that was passing us by his last words were: “I would pay anything on this world to be able to be with you right now!”.  And is how we feel too when we are looking at out white bow wave!
