Day Sail

Today all the ships sailed out for a day sail in the bay of Melbourne. Not only the Dutch Tall Ships, ‘Oosterschelde’, ‘Tecla’ and ‘Europa’, but also the ‘Lord Nelson’, the ‘Windward Bound’, the ‘Søren Larsen’, the ‘Enterprise’ and a few other beautiful classic yachts. In the pouring rain our guests arrived on board. But while we are going on engine and depart from the harbour it slowly gets dry. While we set sail the sky breaks open and the sun started shining. The wind increased and with about 17 knots almost all the ships have full sail. With the skyline in the background it was a great sight. Tomorrow morning we will be busy with the last preparations for our voyage to Hobart. At the end of the afternoon we will welcome our new guests on board.
