Hobart #2

After breakfast we left Adventure Bay for the last part of the voyage to Hobart. The wind was still strong and gusty, but the rain had stopped and more and more patches of blue appeared in the sky. It became a great day of sailing. Even with two reefs we did 8 knots, with an awesome landscape on both sides of Stormy Bay. We sailed close to huge cliffs, where gannets and terns dived for fish. We saw a last albatross, but on entering the fjord we lost sight of these ocean roamers. More and more boats of all sizes appeared, welcoming us to Tasmania. We moored at exactly 2pm.
