We (the crew) did not see a lot of Sydney. We had a very busy schedule and on top of that we had the repairs that needed to be done. This left little time on shore to do some sightseeing. But the most beautiful thing of Sydney must be the view from the water (at least that is what we think). And that is what we did see and enjoyed! For me personally it was fantastic to sail a few weeks with Anthony (Anthony sailed 68 voyages as crew member from May 2002 till October 2007). A never-ending stream of hilarious stories and jokes that kept us laughing all the way. But we also worked really hard together to make sure that the ‘Oosterschelde’, my old lady as well has his old lady, successfully concluded another leg of the circumnavigation and is ready for the next.
