Enough

The have enough of everything on this side of the world. Enough space for everyone. Enough rules for everyone to follow and enough men that see to it everyone does. These guys are dressed in a ranger outfit with a hat, with lost of emblems and sunglasses. Often also covered with a thick coat of sun cream. Because of both (sun cream is sold here in litre packages with a pump) they have enough here.
Yesterday we were sailing on a beautiful blue ocean under a hot sun. A nice wind for the ‘Oosterschelde’, we came closer to the other ships. Today there is about 30 knots of wind and this will increase to 35-40 knots, 8Bft so that is more than enough. We also have enough to do and we are busy with reefing and shaking the reefs. In the rain, because we also have enough of that today. Just now the mizzen tore, so a good outcome of the race won’t possible. I am happy that my watch is over, because I also had enough for now.
