Arrival

After all that work we have arrived at Opua, New Zealand (we also visited Opua on 28 Aug 1997, during our first circumnavigation).
Another beautiful bay, with numerous inlets and small islands, inviting us to visit them all. But first we have to endure an crowd of officials: the Maritime Safety Department, Customs and Immigration and the Ministry of Primary Industries & Biosecurity Authority, 12 persons in total, and a cameraman. All fresh food items, including my lunch, were taken away. We have arrived.
