Conquered the Cape!

On the 31st of October the ‘Oosterschelde’ departed from Auckland (NZ) for the voyage around Cape Horn. A ocean voyage of 5300 nautical miles through the ‘Roaring Fourties’ and the ‘Furious Fifties’ that could take up to 7 weeks… In a few hours, days ahead of schedule, the ship will drop anchor at Egmont Bay, Falklands Islands (Islas Malvinas)!
