During the night we suddenly had to heave anchor and leave. Too much ice was coming our way. The way back via the Lemaire Channel is now blocked. So, we make a detour via open sea to reach Goudier Island, for a visit of the British base of Port Lockroy. It is not operational anymore but during the summer it has a crew of two.
