“The sun is a constant presence these days. This very morning we measured 29 degrees Celsius. A milestone! This nice weather is also having its effect on the atmosphere on board. People are starting to slide into that pleasantly calm state of mind, no doubt to adept to the heat. Funky music can be heard playing from the saloon during the afternoons and the deck is littered with people quietly enjoying the sun and sky.
All around the deck are crewmembers doing all sorts of maintenance, and in the saloon people are frequently seen with needle and thread patching up our topsail. We reckon the huge piece of canvas will be ready somewere tommorow. It seems we are all thriving in this little utopia we have created.”
