Shelter in Arendal

After a couple of nice day trips out of Esbjerg,our new guests arrived. A group of English friends. After a trip to Namibia a few years ago, they decided to make another voyage, this time sailing. Always exciting to have a new group, and it was very soon clear this would be a pleasant company. It is jokes all day; one of them is writing a novel with all of them figuring in it.
After sailing out, a destiny had to be set. Some would like to go to Sweden, some to Norway, some preferred to stay in Denmark for a bit. Sweden was too far off route, the southwest of Norway would have 40 knots of wind and we decided for the southeast of Norway. A course was set to Arendal, planning to get there before the gale would hit. We arrived this morning at 01:30.
We expect the depression to have passed tonight, and then we will have a window of 30 hours before the next one hits.
