Fresh salmon and marshmallows

Update by Joris:
“Having left Bergen right on time, we cruised through the fjords out to the open sea. Our crew for this voyage getting to know each other on the way, with members from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean, from the British Isles to the Lowlands. We set the sails and headed out onto the North Sea, turning south along the coast enjoying the winds. In the last 24 hours we have enjoyed everything that the sea chose to offer us. At full sail we were roaring along at 9 knots, eventually reefing the sails, and taking down the topsails as we continued to cruise south.
This afternoon we have been motoring our way through the Danish oil fields, after the wind died on us. However, the glassy calm of the sea gave us the opportunity to play around the ship. Climbing back up the mast to get the topsails ready for use tonight, shimmying and dancing along the yards. This evening we were swimming in the North Sea, using the yards and stays for somersaults into the deep blue sea. We finished the day off with a barbecue on deck, fresh Norwegian salmon, and toasted marshmallows. We have now turned west, to head across Danish, Dutch and finally British waters, hoping for better winds again.”
