Volvo Ocean Race

In Alicante we are in the middle of all the ships that will race against each other in the famous Volvo Ocean Race. The ships are fast and spectacular and the race is always an exhausting event. A big difference between the last races and this one, is that all ships are equal this time. The team with the biggest budget does not always have to win anymore. The ‘Oosterschelde’ is homebase of team Brunel. Coming week we will welcome guests and sponsors on board for breakfast, a seminar, a short sailing trip next to the raceships and a drink later on the day. With that many guests and interested people, the first day we have to search for the right rhythm, but it is starting to go pretty well.
