Pollença
17 October 2014
The harbour of Soller is situated beautifully in a small natural bay at the northern side of the island Mallorca. Directly after departure we set the sails and with a southwestern wind 4-5 Bft we sailed to the east side of the island. There we tacked a few times before we dropped our anchor in the bay of Pollença. With a clear blue sky and 26 degrees Celsius it is summer and with the visit of a big group of bottlenose dolphins this day could not get better.
In the evening we went to shore, Mallorca is known for its nightlife. But there was not much nightlife in Pollença so everyone was back on board early. Today there is not much wind so we won’t go far, but with a clear blue sky this will again be a lovely day.
