On schedule
29 November 2014
It is unbelievable: the wind was acting like predicted! At least almost… The wind has turned west-north-west indeed, and 4Bft is there. Sometimes.
That means we are sailing towards Sal under full sail with 8-9 knots. Sometimes.
Then the wind decreases and we sail about 3 knots. But over all we sail approximately 140 mile per 24 hours, so we are right on schedule. We expect to arrive on our destination this Sunday in the afternoon. We see more and more of the sea life. Yesterday we saw a couple of minke whales, last night there was something big next to us, but we could only hear it blow and this morning we were accompanied by dolphins (I think bottlenose dolphins).
During the day it starts to get warmer and we also see more and more short pants on deck. At night it is only 21 degrees and in a t-shirt it is a little bit chilly…
Long live the winter!
