To São Vicente

Around 5 AM we dropped anchor in the bay of Tarrafal, in the north of Santiago. Most of our guest were already sleeping. Later that morning everyone left the ship for an excursion on the island. The big kapoktree, the marketplace and the artificial lake where seen. A tiring day and after dinner everyone went to bed early.
We are all well rested to sail today. From Santiago to São Vicente. The wind is rough, so we put another reef in the mizzensail. The other sails were already reefed. We have about 140 miles to go and if the wind is not too northerly, the whole traject could be sailed high on the wind.
