Arrival in São Nicolau

It turned out to be a great sailing day. Once we were out of the canal of São Vicente the waves and wind got calmer and we were sailing to São Nicolau with 5, 6, 7 knots. It was a bit cloudy, but the sun shone on the waves every now and then, which was beautiful with the uninhabited islands Santa Luzia and Ilhéu Raso in the background. The wind stayed until right before the harbor, where we came into the shelter of the island and dropped sails. Around 8 PM we dropped anchor and had dinner together. Tomorrow we will take a tour on the beautiful island.
