As noted earlier, the wind slowly died down and after a few hours on engine the wind came back from the southwest. It increased up to 5 Bft. so we made quite some speed during the night. On Sunday morning we where so close we could almost smell our destination, the wind suddenly shifted to the northwest. But hey the sailing is good, we have enough time, the sun shines so we are not complaining.
In the afternoon the wind went away again and after a while of flapping sails we decided to go a bit on engine to the west. This course was chosen because of the wind forecast. This proved to be a good choice, because the wind came back and we were able to finish the last piece sailing. Last night, at half past three, we sailed into the port of Aberdeen.
