Sail Amsterdam

After leaving Bremerhaven, we sailed to IJmuiden. On Wednesday Aug 19th all the tall ships sailed to Amsterdam in a parade on the North Sea Canal, watched by thousands ashore and on boats. Our first captain Gerben Nab commented on the ships on Dutch public television, which gave the ‘Oosterschelde’ a lot of exposure.
The last days we have been very busy doing daytrips with guests in the Sail Amsterdam area. Today, Sunday, there will be another parade, from Amsterdam back to IJmuiden, ending Sail Amsterdam. On Monday we will leave to London, for yet another Sail event, Sail Greenwich.
