Strong winds

We make a lot more progress than expected. The leg is not an easy one, with winds increasing to 40 knots, 8 to 9 Bft. The waves have grown a lot and sometimes they break over the deck. On the North Sea we would not have been happy with this, but here we can be on watch dressed in shorts and a T-shirt. During the night the topsail tore and we now sail with a good speed on just the staysail.
