Yucatan
29 March 2016
Yesterday we luffed to get more pressure in the sails, today we have a new tactic. The forecast says there will be a high-pressure area near Cuba, which means that there will be no wind there. And on top of that the current is far less strong compared to the Yucatan side. So we jibed to get more west and it seems to work out. We still have wind, although it’s not much, and the current that will push us north is picking up. Tomorrow night we will reach to northeast side of the Yucatan peninsula.
