Arrival St. George’s Bermuda

After about 18 days we saw this morning Bermuda on the horizon. The cheerful pilot boarded ten minutes before three. Alongside half past three. What a beautiful bay! Soon after docking the first swimmers were in the water. The immigration officer did not mind that some people with wet hair did not look like the picture in their passport. Arrival after a seavoyage always invites to some kind of celebration. So we did and danced the night away.
Today is exploring, storing and enjoying day. Some went for a walk, some on a scooter, some went snorkelling and some do the odd job. Anyhow we all enjoy Bermuda in our own way. Tomorrow new guest crew will arrive and together with the lot staying, we will prepare for sea on Thursday. Towards the Azores.
