Klaverjassen

Klaverjassen is a cardgame played by four people at one table. You have one partner so you play against two other persons. Your partner sits in front of you. The cards we use are 7, 8, 9, 10, jack, queen, king and ace. The meaning is to gain at least 81 points from a total of 162 points. The value of the card is jack = 2, queen = 3, king = 4, 10 = 10, ace = 11. The most important cards are the trump cards. They overrule the other cards and have another value. 9 = 14 and jack = 20.
Furthermore you can make combinations of cards like 789 or 78910 of jack queen king and many other examples. We will see that when we start to play.
To start we deal the cards and the one next to the dealer clockwise can start the game by looking in his cards and saying whether he will try to get the points or not. It is not compulsory. You may pass and the next can say what he wants. The rest of the rules will be demonstrated while we play the game. Good luck!
