To Orkney

After an amazing sunrise we arrived in Ullapool. It was a very warm welcome, thank you Edel and Kevin! After day of hiking through the hills and a goodnight’s rest it was time to depart again. Because of the eastern wind we decided to sail to Stornoway to visit the standing stones, before we leave the Hebrides behind.
When everyone was back on board, we let go of the ropes and we set the sails to leave the quay side, this is so much fun to do! 
The weather reports said the wind would decrease and together with the sun the wind disappeared so we took the sails down and started the engine.
Tomorrow after breakfast we will go searching for birds at Sule Skerry and Sule Stack and then sail further to Kirkwal, Orkney.
