Tall Ships' Race

In Blyth was a Sail event, cosy and friendly, no big scale. Today, Monday, the tall ships’ race to Göteborg, Sweden, has started. We are in Class A, the 8 big ships.
The ‘Oosterschelde’ started very good, right in front of the pack. But many were faster, until we changed our course more to the north, expecting better winds. And now we are doing better again and have sailed into the night. We have the Polish ‘Frederyk Chopin’ in front of us.
The race can be followed, with recent positions of all participants, on a plot on the site of the Sail Training Association.
