Sail Royal Greenwich
15 September 2016
After two days of cleaning, scrubbing, painting, grocery shopping and all sorts of chores the ship is all set for Sail Royal Greenwich. At the time I’m typing this the last glasses are being polished and copper too: we are ready! The next four days we will be sailing with guests up and down the Thames between Woolwich and Greenwich. Tonight we even go all the way up to the ‘Cutty Sark’ and that means we have to pass the Tower Bridge. Captain Maarten has his PEC (pilot exemption) but for sailing through the Tower Bridge we need to have a pilot on board. The sun is shining and the temperature is good, so it looks like we have a great couple of days ahead.
