Departure

Besides the new guests, there has also been a crew change. So, full of fresh energy we welcomed the new guests in Palmeira for the fifth voyage in Cape Verde. 
After a quiet night on the slow swell most of the guest where adjusted to the ship before we left. 
Upon departure, there was little wind, but we set all the sails anyway and set course in a southwesterly direction for our first island, Santiago. We dropped anchor just before breakfast in the bay of Tarrafal. The guests are now on the island for their first excursion and will return this afternoon.
