Arrival at São Nicolau

After a beautiful day of sailing to Mindelo we had a lovely walk on Santo Antão. So it was time to start sailing again on Sunday. Custom clearance took a while because it’s hard to find someone to stamp our papers. But luckily after a bit of a discussion and waiting we had our stamps and we could depart. 
The wind was east-north-east which was not good as we wanted to head to São Nicolau which was east of us. But with the engine for a bit of help we motor-sailed and it was a great day. Everyone enjoyed the sun and every time a wave came over the ship we heard yells coming from the deck.
We just dropped anchor at Tarrafal. Now let’s hope the weather is a bit easier compared to our last visit.
