Always something

There’s always something. This time it was not our fault. We were ready for departure, visited a few islands, did some last-minute shopping and were ready. But we could not leave yet. We had to wait for stores and spare parts that were shipped in from the Netherlands. The pallet arrived on the 3rd of March in Mindelo, but customs did not want to clear it. We really wanted to go, the ocean was calling, but to leave now with the spares so close was not a good idea. So, we stayed an extra day and tried to do everything in our power to speed up the process. And luckily, later than we wanted, the formalities were arranged and we got everything on board. Coffee filters, dish wash brushes, rope, tools, filters and lots more. The stores of all the things we need the coming months. We are going: NOW!
