Visit and maintenance

Photo 1: Martin Thomson was sailor, first mate and captain on the ‘Oosterschelde’. He has been living in the US for 10 years. Together with Bridget and his son Sebastian he is here in Savannah to visit the ‘Oosterschelde’. Sebastian has already been infected a bit with the virus: he is able pronounce ‘Oosterschelde’ really well!

Photo 2: The lovely weather in Savannah is good for –the never ending- maintenance. Here we see Boudewijn and Jeroen working on the anchor winch.

The Oosterschelde will stay in Savannah until the 17th of May for maintenance before she set sail for Charleston.
