BBQ

When the guest came back from their expedition on the island of Santiago, we started the BBQ with delicious fresh fish. The next morning, we had time to enjoy ourselves. Some went to see the village of Tarrafal, some drank coffee at the square, took a refreshing dive or just read a book on deck.
At 11 o’clock we picked up the anchors and sailed for the longest stretch of the journey, towards São Vicente. Initially the wind seemed easterly enough to pass ‘above’ Vicente, but then the wind backed.
We regularly went 9 knots, so we went fast and early in the morning we were already in the strait between São Vicente and Santo Antão. Here we lowered the sails and went further by engine. Now we are at anchor in the bay of Mindelo and we will explore the city today.
