Update Egbert:
“Today is the 35th wedding anniversary of Esther and Frans, another day of festivities after the unforgettable mid ocean party. Disco in the middle of the ocean with incredible views and a moving dance floor! Unfortunately we had to stop because of complaints of the neighbours. To remember this special day, we made a (green) flash mob with everybody on board joining on the rhythms of ‘All you need is love’ with Frans at the rudder accompanied by Esther.
I noticed that Dirk had forgotten to mention that we hooked a second dolphin fish. With the good taste of the last one still in our mouth, we brought this one next to the ship where we could see its size of about a meter and just before hooking it, he put his little remaining energy in a last attempt to jump off the hook and …. succeeded. And we passed a woman who was rowing alone over the ocean. Some consider taking a sailing boat already strange…
The swell on the ocean is back like how it was in the first days (5-6 m) and again it was spectacular to see this continuously moving valley landscape with our boat climbing and descending these mountains.
We are now about one and half a week on the board and it is nice to see that the individuals that all boarded are now starting to form a group where each one is starting to know the other better each day.
Nice presentation by Arian about his project to recover a cable between South-Africa and Portugal from the ocean floor.
The wind is blowing conveniently in our back and this means that we are expected to arrive on time on Saint Martin. Probably we have to take down the BMF because of fear over rain for this night. Closing down because soon the bell for the third round of eating is going ring.
Greetings and kisses to all my beloveds.”
