“Dear family and friends and interested people, thank you for bearing with us. Thank you for watching the little dot on your screens, which indicated where we were. We are almost there now and for most of us a whole month at sea is coming to an end. We will have one more party and celebrate one more birthday.
It was a peaceful journey with a lot of warmth, music and laughter. When we get back you will hear a lot of stories and see a lot of pictures. But the most important bits will remain between our ears.
If you want to know what it is all about do not look at our sunset photos or our facebook pages – look at our eyes. There you might see a new sparkle, you might notice a new spring in our steps.
On behalf of all guest-crew-trainees I want to say a huge thank you to the most important people of the voyage: Arian, Boudewijn, Edward, Sarah, Valentin and Richard. You have kept us safe and happy, showed us the ropes and were forever patient with our questions and mistakes. We promise to keep doing it the ‘other way round’. You made this voyage. THANK YOU.”
