Under full sail

Everything went as planned, that was a nice surprise. In the morning we came far enough to be able to ‘play’ all day. So, after breakfast we hoisted the sails and we sailed the entire day. At the end of the afternoon we had to go in the right direction to arrive in Sunderland in time. During the night we sailed with the engine, and we were a bit too early. So, we hoisted our sails again and we made a few turns before entering the harbour under full sail (all the way until the pilot got nervous).  
Today we have open ship, and this evening we will host a reception on board. Also tomorrow we will spend most of our time with festivities in Sunderland. Saturday we will participate in the Sail-Out. We will also prepare the ship for the next voyage: the Tall Ships Race towards Esbjerg. As always, we have a lot of fun on board, but with a race we also get competitive. We are already carefully studying the weather forecasts and we are working out the best tactics. Looking forward to the start this Saturday!
