Race update

Our plan to sail more north seemed to work out well. We are as fast as the other ships, and sometimes even a bit faster. Unfortunately, the wind shifted in ‘the wrong direction’ and now our plans does not seem to be so great. We were hoping on a westerly wind, but at the moment the wind is a bit more easterly. So, the ships that sail south of us now have more wind and sail faster. We expect to fall back in the rankings. But the race has only just started and we are resuming the Tall Ships Race with vim and vigour. There are still many variables that might make our northern position suddenly much more interesting…
