Back on board

With a relatively small group we have left Palmeira. What we were lacking in muscle is compensated by good weather. The wind is not too strong and under those circumstances we quickly set sail. With a 12 knots wind in the back we sail into the night on our way to Santiago.

Shortly after arrival the next morning our guides are waiting for us on the beach. They are going to show us the best of what the island has to offer. Because there is little wind, there is also not much sand in the air so the views from the mountains will be spectacular. With the naiveté of someone who just stepped on board I dive into the to-do list. You hope to make the list shorter, but at the end of the day the list only got longer. Meanwhile we hoisted the anchor again and we are on our way to São Vicente.
