A very special trip

It is our seventh day on this wonderful ship and I am already afraid that in four more day’s I have to say good bye. What is it that makes our trip so very special? Well, first of all the Cape Verdies make it easy to feel good: it is warm (but not too hot as there is always some wind)the sun is shining and there are interesting landscapes to discover.

More importantly is this ship: beautiful as she is when you see her from the shore. She is majestic if you stand on the deck trying to sort out which rope to pull. And then there is the saloon and the cabins so inviting that i immediately felt at home. But most important are the people, everyone special and loving, coming from nine different countries all over the world making this trip a lasting memory. Among them, perhaps most responsible for the ship, the crew: Jan, Jonathan, Edward, Matu, Timo, Edson and last but not least: Fennardie who is cooking delicious meals under sometimes difficult circomstances.

It was the best decision in years to come on this adventure, go to my limits and be part of such a fantastic team.
