Did you know that since October 14, 1996 the nautical miles that the OOSTERSCHELDE sails have been recorded?

Since her renovation, the OOSTERSCHELDE has sailed around the world twice, visited more than 50 countries and all the continents. You can imagine that this ship has sailed many nautical miles.

The log shows that the OOSTERSCHELDE has covered no fewer than 422,901 miles. These are an average of 18,000 nautical miles per year. For us as landlubbers this equals 33500 kilometers per year!
