While the OOSTERSCHELDE is on its way to the dock, where she will be inspected again for a new season, the shipping company had to decide that we will not be going to Cape Verde this winter. There are, of course, many good reasons for this decision and we saw it coming but it remains a disappointment.

This winter we will stay in the Netherlands. There is a big chance that we are going to do a major maintenance project. We better use the time that we can’t sail useful. Of course, we will have to see how we can get the money we need, but more on that later.

First, we will be working on the program for 2021. This will be closer to home than the destinations we were used to the last few years, but it will be a lot of fun too. Check the Sailing trips page for the latest information. The upcoming days, more trips will be added!
