In the water tank

Timo says: “Till Christmas, we try to finish the projects we’ve started on so we can begin with new ones at the start of the new year. That mainly means putting on the final layers of varnish on parts of the interior.

We took away the main generator to derust and paint behind it. Now that’s been done, and we can put it back in place this week. Our drink water tanks were emptied to check them from the inside and to apply some cement coating.

Next week, we are moving to the Maritime Museum. The drink water tanks will be filled and closed again by then. We wanted to show the guests of the Maritime Museum our beautiful ship but unfortunately, because of the new measurements this isn’t possible. We are still going to the Museum so that people can take a look at our ship from a distance when they take a walk.

Hopefully we will be able to welcome people on board for tours next year.”
