Update Arian

Snow blizzard, ice on deck and a rough sea. Thinking back of boarding “our” OOSTERSCHELDE. Already nine years ago, at anchor in the bay of Sal, Cabo Verde. Warmer then currently here for sure. Regarding the outside temperature of course, but also the warm welcome on board.

As every-now-and-then crewmember, I need to make a living elsewhere as well. Leisure times and sailing vacations are on hold for some time now, but luckily humanity is not really consuming less. A lot of goods need to be transported from one side of the globe to the other. I help with that, again as an every-now-and-then crewmember.

Since last year august, after years of restoration, we managed to open our B&B/campsite Barbaia in Italy. Hopefully there are some more visiting possibilities for holiday guests in 2021 as well.
