Update Fennardie

Just before the whole corona shizzle started, I made an investment and treated myself to an allotment garden with a small mini house. I really enjoyed that during the lockdown. After all, you never have to get bored, weeds and grass just keep growing!

Fortunately, I soon found a new job, aboard a large river cruiser. A huge hundred meters long ship with a swimming pool, gym, etc. He serves in Den Oever as a hotel ship for the workmen on the Afsluitdijk. Still, I can’t wait until the OOSTERSCHELDE is allowed to sail again.

Although cooking on a stationary ship in a huge professional kitchen may be a lot easier, I miss the rocking and the fun. But what I especially miss is the holiday feeling while cooking, which I always get due to the presence of the mixed group of people who are on a sailing holiday.
