After 12 months of no sailing at all, we can hardly believe that it is true. But we are going sailing again! In the UK and Scotland, the government appears to have gotten the pandemic under control with a rapid vaccination program. And if all announced easing of the restrictions are going to happen, we will be able to sail in the United Kingdom again from the 17th of May. We are really looking forward to it! The sails have now been brought back on board from storage. And everyone is busy with the preparations and orders.
Unfortunately, any traveller from outside the UK has a quarantine period of 10 days upon arrival. Foreign guests therefore have to wait a while and we sail with crew only to Aberdeen and then make two trips in Scotland with only British guests. The OOSTERSCHELDE will return to the Netherlands in June. If everything goes to plan, we will be able to sail here with guests again too. So we made a program with a number of fun day trips and short getaways on the North Sea with departure and arrival in Scheveningen or Rotterdam. And then everyone can come along again!
