Local Delicacy

We cleaned the ship in one day and then we had half a day left for some minor repair work. Yesterday at lunch Richard made us the local specialty: deep-fried mars bar. That sounds like it could cause acute heart failure, and I believe it does. It is a mars bar in a layer of dough that is fried in the deep fryer. It is very tasty, but it is also heavy on the stomach. Maybe don’t eat it too often…

Now we have just left Ullapool. With no wind but with a lot of sun we sail to the south so that we can sail to the north with the predicted south wind in the next few days.
