Wind but flat water

We sailed beautifully to Vlissingen yesterday, after we left Rotterdam immediately after dinner. With ample wind, Beaufort 2-3. This morning (17-6) we left Vlissingen and we are now sailing close to the wind at about 6-7 knots.

The funny thing is, and you rarely see this, the water is so smooth as if there is no wind at all. The wind, which is there because we feel it and because we are moving, therefore only blows a few meters above the water surface. Crazy to look at the mirror-smooth water and see that the ship sails through it so fast.
