Back to Sal
Although the forecast is exactly the same as yesterday, the wind has decreased noticeably this morning. Instead of 30 knots, today there’s ‘only’ 20 knots. This makes the crossing to Sal a lot more attractive!
The waves, as high as before, have now become a bit longer, and with a reef in all sails, they go over nicely. With just over 7 knots, the speed is fine and although we do not quite reach the height we need, we will soon end up nicely in the Bay of Sal! Two hours, and then we will lower the sails for the last time this voyage!
