Pasajes

Yesterday, we leaved Lastres and after a beautiful day and night of sailing, we arrived this morning in Pasajes. The port entrance of this Basque coastal town was not so easy to find: a rather narrow opening in the rocks of this Basque coast. You couldn’t see the opening until we were right in front of it!

Quite spectacular, we sailed between the rock walls towards the harbor. Those large rock walls around us, with some vegetation and a building here and there: amazing! Now, we are in the industrial harbor and we have some time for maintenance. It’s not too hot, but certainly not too cold, and it’s dry: ideal weather for varnishing and painting! We are ready – and looking forward – to the Itsas Festibala, the maritime festival of Pasaia.
