Guest crew member Mechteld writes: “In the Leuvehaven I board my first, and I already know, not the last, trip with the Oosterschelde. Through the Erasmus Bridge down the Nieuwe Waterweg, can it get more beautiful?

After some waiting for a repair to the bridge, we sail through the Erasmus Bridge at midnight with an almost full moon. At sunrise we hoist the sails and head north towards Kiel. Wonderful and what a beautiful ship.

In the afternoon the wind disappears completely, and we set course for Terschelling and we are lucky to arrive during all the fun and festivities of the festival Oerol.”
