After going on engine for a day and a half because the wind was completely gone, we are now sailing again with southwest 5 to Madeira. I think we can find a nice bay there for a stopover. This morning we met a tanker of 250 meters long. They called us on channel 16: we didn’t need to worry, but they wanted to change course sharply to pass us very closely. I think they were curious what such a schooner under sail looked like. I have asked them to send the photos to the office.
